Climate Change Adaptation at USAID

Hadas Kushnir, of the USAID's Africa Bureau, Office of Sustainable Development, presented her overview of current USAID work on Climate Change Adaptation, vulenrability assessments and evidence-based decision-making.
The adaptation effort is based on the U.S. Global Climate Change Initiative. USAID recently released its Climate Change and Development Strategy with a goal “... To help countries accelerate their transition to climate resilient, low emissions development”  and to do this through direct climate change program investments and by integrating climate change throughout USAID programming, learning, policy dialogues, and internal operations".
