We have been exploring applications of participatory orthophoto mapping (participatory mapping using a high resolution satellite photo as the base map). Throughout the process of fine-tuning this tool to our particular project (integrated water resource management) we realized that other natural resource management practitioners who are considering applying this or a similar tool might benefit from some of the lessons we learned, technical manuals we developed, best practices, etc.
