This collection of presentations on Fair Trade and climate change was given at the Climate and Development Days side event in Cancun during the UN Framework Convention of Climate Change COP16 (December 4-5, 2010). The first presentaiton gives an over view about Fair Trade labeling, and their climate change strategy. The next presentaitons are from regional Fair Trade organizations: Coordinadora Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Pequenos Product res de Comercio Justo (CLAC), Network of Asian Producers (NAP), Fairtrade Africa (FTA). The conclusions from the presentations are that fair trade creates an enabling environment for adaptation to climate change, it fosters pride and enthusiasm to adapt, and it builds networks to support adaptation processes.
