The Union of Environmental Journalists can now be considered as the Mano River Union of Environmental Journalists, does anyone object to this and would anyone like to have an update on our activities?

The Union of Environmental Journalists was inspired in its formation by the Rio Earth Summit.
We are based in Sierra Leone, West Africa and have built up considerable data on biodiversity conservation and NRM best practices in the West African Sub Region.
We work with journalists who share their information with transboundary forest communities in particular.
We also use our network to reach municipalities between town and capitol level in the Upper Guinea Rainforest Ecosystem.

No objections - appears to be an exciting initiative. Could you share the work plan with the Community-of-Practice so that partners have a clear understanding of what activities will take place over the next year?

I am currently working on transboundary conservation in the region and I'd like to know more about the data you have... Which transboundary forests are you working in, which data (including GIS format) are available and how to access them. Thank you
